It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine's main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons. Kasuga Taisha Shrine - Main Sanctuary Special Visit (Duration: 60 mins) This Nara Period shrine is designated as a World Heritage Site. The deer of Nara Park are thought to be the shrine messengers. From 2025, the Main Sanctuary special visit area will be newly added to the itinerary. Visitors can get closer to the Main Sanctuary and view the hanging lanterns in the corridor. Travel on foot. During the meal, there will be a wadaiko (Japanese drum) performance, one of Japan's traditional arts, performed by the Social Welfare Corporation Fugakukai. Spend a relaxing time while gazing at the beautiful lake and Mt. Fuji. *The tour may be guided to an alternative destination if the Lake Ashi cruise operation is suspended, or depending on road conditions, congestion, etc. (Boat) Hakone Komagatake Ropeway (Duration: 50 mins) Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt.Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st Station. However, when the tour has to turn back at the 1st Station or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fujisan World Heritage Center or Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park.
