Kanmangafuchi Abyss (Duration: 30 mins)
Kanmangafuchi Abyss is a small gorge formed by an eruption of Mt. Nantai. There is a row of approximately 70 stone statues of Jizo (a Bodhisattva who is the protector of children) along the river, and the legend says they mysteriously change in number each time they are counted. A botanical garden lies on the opposite side of the Jizo statues, where visitors can enjoy the scenery of the season. (On Foot)

Nikko Toshogu Shrine (Duration: 80 mins)
A registered UNESCO World Heritage Site, this sacred place with over 400 years of history is where Ieyasu Tokugawa, the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate, is enshrined. Enjoy seeing the traditional beauty of the main hall, as well as the sleeping cat and 3 monkey carvings.

Kinkaku-ji Temple (Duration: 45 mins)
A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond.

This Nara Period shrine is designated as a World Heritage Site. The deer of Nara Park are thought to be the shrine messengers. The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line.
The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds. (Bus)

Enjoy Japanese-style cuisine.
During the meal, there will be a wadaiko (Japanese drum) performance, one of Japan's traditional arts, performed by the Social Welfare Corporation Fugakukai. Enjoy a spectacular performance featuring powerful tones and rhythms rich in emotion.
Lake Ashi Cruise (Duration: 15 mins)
At Lake Ashi in Hakone, customers can ride a cruise ship. Spend a relaxing time while gazing at the beautiful lake and Mt. Fuji.

Hakone Komagatake Ropeway (Duration: 50 mins)
Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt.Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop. Enjoy the scenery of Lake Ashi spread out below.

Dazaifu Tenmangu is a venerable shrine dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, known as the god of
learning. Within the grounds is the sacred tobiume plum tree, which is over a thousand years old, and is
said to continue to tell the legend of Michizane. After touring the grounds with the National
Government Licensed Guide Interpreter, customers are allotted free time for lunch. At the approach road,
there are many shops selling food that visitors can enjoy while walking around such as the specialty
umegae-mochi, so feel free to enjoy an unguided stroll.

- At Tokyo Tower, only the main observatory (150 m) will be entered. An additional admission fee is required to access the special observatory (250 m). For those interested, please pay the required charges on your own.
- Due to traffic restrictions or entry restrictions, etc. near the Imperial Palace, operation may be suspended or departure may not be possible from the designated departure location.
[Important Notes/Supplements: About Day 3 Itinerary (Nikko Tour)]
- The Nikko tour is a walking tour where customers will be walking for approximately 5 km.
- Public transportation will be used to move around on this tour. Please note that seating is not guaranteed.
- In the winter season (around December to mid-March), as it may be difficult to ensure safety due to freezing of roads to Kanmangafuchi Abyss or other reasons, the tour will be guided to Futarasan Shrine, Taiyuuin Mausoleum at Rinno-ji Temple, Tamozawa Imperial Villa, or Nikko Botanical Gardens instead.
- While congestion is expected at the location, an audio service with which explanations from the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter can be heard will be available.
- As there are slopes and stairs in areas around Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Kanmangafuchi Abyss, wearing shoes with good traction and clothing easy to walk in as well as using a backpack are recommended. (A distance of about 5 km will be covered.)
- As there are land leeches from April to November, please be sure to keep your legs covered. We recommend wearing thick socks that cover the ankles and bringing bug spray.
- Shoes must be removed in some areas in Toshogu Shrine. Please participate wearing shoes that are easy to put on and take off, and are comfortable to walk in.
[Important Notes/Supplements: About Day 4 Itinerary (Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour)]
- The departure and arrival times and time to be spent at destinations written on the itinerary are an estimate. The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations.
- Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
- Important Notes: On a typical year, the 5th Station may be visited from around late April to November, but during the winter months (around December to early April), the Fuji Subaru Line will be closed due to snowfall, road surface freezing, etc.
- If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, or if there is inclement weather and the company has determined that views may not be seen from Mt. Fuji 4th Station and 5th Station, the tour will be guided to any of the following alternative facilities. - As the Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed to visitors on Mondays (or the following day if Monday is a holiday) and on days when there is an Imperial Household Agency event, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead. If the closed day falls on the 25th, the tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple.
- Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December, and from Dec. 26 to Jan. 3. (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
- Participants will walk from the parking lot to Todai-ji Temple (about 15 min one-way). Please inform us at the time of booking if any person in your group is using crutches or a wheelchair, or has a chronic illness that makes it difficult to walk for long distances.
- At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour will also enter the Main Sanctuary special visit area. However, in case the special visit area cannot be entered due to events or operational circumstances, the Kasuga Taisha Museum or Manyo Botanical Garden will be visited instead. - Refunds will not be issued in case the tour visits aforementioned alternative destinations.
[Important Notes/Supplements: About Day 9 Itinerary (1-Day Fukuoka Tour)] - As the Honden (Main Sanctuary) of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is currently under renovation, the tour will visit the temporary hall. - During the Yanagawa river cruise, umbrellas and parasols cannot be used as these may hit the bridges. - If the river cruise is unavailable due to reasons such as inclement weather, the tour will be guided to the Yanagawa Ohana estate and garden for a cultural experience, or to an alternative destination. In this case, the tea and sweets included in the river cruise may be enjoyed at the Yanagawa Ohana estate and garden. (However, no refunds will be issued as a result of experience content/location changes. ) - In case the Tachibana Museum and Yanagawa Ohana estate and garden are temporarily closed, or due to other operational circumstances, the tour may be guided to the following alternative destination. No refunds will be issued as a result of location changes. (Alternative Destination) Kitahara Hakushu's Birthplace and Memorial Hall - As public transportation will be used for transfers during the tour, seating may not be available when crowded.
